Watch: Sakshee shares video of wrestlers being detained
As the new Parliament building was inaugurated, the group of protesting wrestlers were involved in a scuffle with the police as they tried to march towards the new Parliament. The wrestlers had given a call for a women mahapanchayat near the new Parliament building but permission was denied. The police then detained the protesters but the protesters refused to give up, resulting in a scuffle that lasted several minutes. The police finally detained the protesters. One of the protesters, Sakshee Malikkh then shared a video of the scuffle, asking if this is how champions should be treated.
