    West Bengal Rajya Sabha Bypoll: BJP won't field candidates against Jawhar Sircar

    After Trinamool Congress defeat Bhartiya Janata Party in the West Bengal state elections, BJP has now said that they are not going to put up a candidate against Jawhar Sircar, who has been appointed by the Trinamool Congress for the Rajya Sabha bypoll. The seat in the Rajya Sabha bypoll was vacated by the BJP Dinesh Trivedi when he switched over to Bhartiya Janata Party. And now the BJP has decided to not field any candidate. In this regard, Suvendu Adhikari tweeted, " Today is the last date for nomination of RS by-poll in WB. BJP is not putting up any candidate for this seat. Outcome of the poll is defined and known to all. Our fight against this irrational Govt. will continue". Listen in!
