    Decoding Wipro’s Q1 Results | Earnings With ET NOW | The Market

    IT services company Wipro on Thursday reported a 35% year-on-year jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 3,230 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. Revenue for the said quarter came in at Rs 18,252.4 crore, rose 22% against Rs 14,913.1 crore in the year-ago period. Commenting on the earnings, Wipro CEO Thierry Delaporte said: “Despite the severe onslaught of the pandemic, we delivered our best-ever quarter, with secular growth across all SMUs, Sectors and GBLs. Our sequential revenue growth of 12.2% was well ahead of the top-end of our guidance range, both organically and with Capco.” We caught up with him along with Saurabh Govil, President & Chief Human Resources Officer, and Jatin Dalal, President & Chief Financial Officer, to decode the numbers.
