    Calcutta HC refuses to stay orders on Bengal govt's plea; BJP govt lashes at TMC

    The Calcutta high court dropped the West Bengal government's plea for suspending orders conducted by the National Human rights Commission to investigate the cases of alleged human rights violations in the post-poll violence. The West Bengal government had claimed that they were not given adequate opportunities to place the facts regarding the case. The government took steps to address the issue relating to the violence in the state. The bench has advised to include the state legal service and Human rights commission with necessary logistics and support. The court has involved NHRC because of the allegation that was made on the cops for not taking any action in the matter.
